The 4th Beijing International Garden Festival kicked off at Beijing Expo Park in the Yanqing district in the northwestern part of Beijing on April 28 and will last until Nov. 15.

With the theme "Green Life, Beautiful Homeland," the festival will display 23,000 square meters of floral arts and potted plants, including landscape horticulture, seasonal flowers, and bulb flowers.

Garden design contests featuring the beauty of nature and horticulture will also be held at the festival.

During the upcoming Labor Day holiday, Beijing Expo Park in Yanqing will be hosting a three-day Strawberry Music Carnival from April 29 to May 1. Approximately 66 acts, including bands and musicians such as rock band Dada, folk music band Wutiaoren, and rock trio Mr. Sea Turtle, will be performing during the carnival.
